Freak Quincy Smoothes It Out, Baby….
Sometimes a slow warm-up is a necessary pleasure, listeners. Mmmmmmm…. Yeeaaaaaah….
You see, that’s what those pullout couches are for. Gettin’ in the mood. You know what I’m talkin’ about. You come home from a long day’s work, you don’t want to hear anyone’s voice. Even a pretty one (okay, MAYBE a pretty lady…or dude, not excluding the hot ladies listening in).
Generally, voices–bad. Easy sounds, good. We all just want to relax. We want that smoothness, that liquid feeling inside our ears without the clogging and bashing and sloshing and moshing! Just smooooooooooth flow. Call it a warm-up to some of the music we’ve already listened to on 55.5 Taco Supreme, baby. This track’ll juice ya up. Get you flowin’.
The Wretched Writer uses this track in a broad sense. An overall sense. To get a feel for the story and not any specific scene or plot element. It is, in a way, the entrance into his world, his fantasy. This track opens his door. This track pulls him in. Come in with him, bebbies. Bebbies…. Yeeeeaaaaaaaaah.
We got E.S. Posthumus here, with their soothing sounds. You might’ve heard this one on a well-known television show, “Cold Case”….
