Sailing Away with Freak Quincy
Hey, peoples, Freak here with another edition on the Taco Supreme Station 55.5, yeeeeeaaaaaaaah!!!
We gonna slow it down for the Wretched Writer again, because he wants to show you something dear to him, something that gets him going.
First off, you know the beginning credits to some films, how they set up the mood? They set you up for the story. It’s like getting lubed. You’re reeled in, and suddenly you enter the world, and you watch the credits flow seamlessly into the beginning score…. Really is a beautiful thing.
That’s one indulgence the Wretched Writer dreams of fondly. It sets him up for writing. He gets into the story. He imagines it.
One particular piece gets him going, you know, sort of like that kind of music you’d listen to on a slow fade-back to an open convertible driving the countryside. You listen to the music, and you feel the mood…. Same thing here. This one grabs me, too. Check it out. Peace.
