The Eloquence of Words: Chewy Chimichanga

Published by roustan at 12:03 am under Quotes, Speeches, Lines and Rhetoric Edit This

There I go again with the strange titles: chewy chimichanga. Don’t ask. I just get weird. It’s a purely random title.

So let me explain what exactly this edition of the “Eloquence of Words” is all about.

My brain was racing (as usual), and it suddenly hit an element of many comedies out there that I never even touched on but always enjoyed just for the sheer outrageousness, randomness, hilarity, retardedness, stupidity and utter diction oddities the world probably has never seen (unless you were given too much novocaine at the dentist’s office). There are many comedies out there have musical numbers. Hilarious musical numbers. That make absolutely no sense. Right up my alley.

Well, I take that back. Some of them make sense. But are still retarded. Even perverted. Perverted is okay, though! We’re humans. That’s what we do–we pervert things. It’s in our nature.

So here are three clips of three of my favorite movies that feature some of the strangest musical numbers you will ever hear in your lifetime. I guarantee it. Enjoy. Taco Supreme.

Oh, that scene from RH:MIT is a classic! One of my all time favorite movies. By the way, I love your title. Chewy Chimichanga…kinda catchy.

Glad to make you laugh, Sarah :-). Always. And, yes, indeedy, Miss Genealogy, that RH:MIT is a C-L-A-S-S-I-C. Totally. I was debating on “chunky” or “chewy”, and so I thought of a chimichanga and how it tastes. Hmm… so I decided on “chewy”. ‘Cause, really, chimichangas aren’t chunky. They’re kinda chewy. Not chunky. SO I was set on “chewy”. And I saw that “chewy” was good. Amen.

C’mon man, I realize that it doesn’t really follow the path of this post, but you can’t use the title “Chewy Chimichanga” and not use the “Chimichanga” scene from “Meet The Fockers.”

Hmmmm…. I need to check that one again, don’t remember that scene :-). Thanks, MG :-) :-)
