That’s the only drawback of having to transfer your cable service is you have to wait for the cable dude to come over and rehook everything up in the new apartment. Hence for the whole weekend, I had no internet service .

So for my readers out there who had been checking constantly for something only to find nothing and then wanting to chuck a shovel or ball or pack of chicken bones or DVD copies of Halle Berry’s “Catwoman” at the computer screen, I must say with a resounding gong that….

I am truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuly sorry….

I’m back now . At least for the time being. I may have mentioned in a previous post about news regarding the United States Navy–in that I have a trip to Lansing, Michigan, again on Thursday, back on Friday. This is the big moment, people. They check my eyes. Hopefully they’re healthy enough. Hopefully with contacts and glasses, I can see, focus, or whatever it is they’ll have me do. Because that’ll decide my chance of getting my waiver and picking my field of training and job and then swearing in.

I can only hope. Let’s just say the move-in rent cost killed me . Fun, fun. Keep your fingers crossed. Until then, people…. I’m still here. Keep reading. And I’ll keep writing.
